After a well deserved holiday for the ponies after POYS we were back at SouthView for the British Showjumping Pony Winter Championships and the ponies were on FIRE 🔥. Snappy blew us all away winning his first rug to become the 128 Spring Champions after an intense jump off full of super tight turns and huge strides saw Anya finish a full 4 SECONDS ahead of the runner up! Jim jumped his socks off to finish in 3rd place and the rest of the weekend was full of rosettes rosettes rosettes with Jim taking a win in the 128/138 handicap, Monty 2nd and Pav 4th in the handicap special final and a 3rd place for Monty in the U11 final! What a weekend for the super ponies. We are so proud of them all 🥰. Despite the cold and wet start we took Monty to Redcar Beach with our good friend Ella Kay and her pony Herbie to give the ponies a bit of fun and to stretch their legs. It was a bit chilly 🥶and the waves were MASSIVE so Monty and Herbie were a bit unsure at first but after we’d warmed them up they absolutely LOVED it. We are lucky to have such a lovely supportive network of people in the horsey community, we love spending time having fun with our friends outside of the arena and the beach is a great way to keep the ponies fit whilst having a blast!
